Meet The Team
Laura Kenyon, BA FCA
Chartered Accountant and Financial Consultant
Laura qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG London (one of the Big 4 accountancy firms) 18 years ago, winning a national prize in her final exams along the way. Laura also went on to gain high-profile experience in a number of senior roles in the Financial Planning and Strategy teams of several FTSE 250 companies. She set up LK & Associates in 2008 after seeing an opportunity to provide value-added accounting services to small businesses and individuals in and around her local area.
Her key strengths are the ability to provide clarity and challenge operational and strategic plans by identifying opportunities for growth and by working closely with decision makers.
Laura uses very simple and visual techniques to enable business owners not only to understand their numbers, but to be able to interpret them, own them and act on them.
Role: As well as ensuring the smooth running of the business, Laura specialises in business development, strategic advice and financial planning.
Joshua Cox, ACA FMAAT
Accounting Services Manager
Josh is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has worked in accountancy since leaving full time education, working as an accounts and audit senior in a small growing firm for 13 years before joining a top 15 firm and progressing internally from senior to manager. Josh manages a varied client portfolio at LKA, including clients working in architecture, retail, marketing and property.
Role: Josh heads up our Accounting Services team, dealing with the statutory needs of our clients, as well as our outsourced Finance Director Service which provides strategic advice and business development to LKA clients.
Robyn Milstead, CTA
Head of Tax
Robyn started her career in a small bookkeeping practice but found her interest lay in Taxation. Having passed both her ATT and CTA exams Robyn now specialises in Personal Taxes and enjoys being able to assist in an area which can often cause much stress and anxiety. In 2014 Robyn was shortlisted for a Taxation Award for her work aimed at improving tax information available to ‘normal’ people and providing careers advice to young people.
Role: Robyn oversees the self-assessment process for all of our clients and specialises in personal tax compliance.
Nicola Dunn, CTA
Senior Tax Advisor
Nicola is a specialist UK and US tax professional with over 30 years’ experience of private clients. She advises on all aspects of UK and US tax including inheritance and estate tax planning, business exit strategy, capital gains tax for sale of property plus other assets and the interaction of UK and US tax to optimise the worldwide tax position. She has extensive experience of cross-border issues and non-UK domiciled individuals. Nicola is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor and US Enrolled Agent.
Role: Nicola is our first point of contact for all specialist tax advice, including Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax Planning and US tax.
Trainee Chartered Accountant
Danielle started her career in accounting by studying the AAT qualification and setting up her own bookkeeping company. She then went on to work in various departments within accounts for Historic Royal Palaces at Hampton Court Palace. Danielle is now training to become a chartered accountant (ACA) with LK & Associates and focuses on bookkeeping, company accounts and personal tax returns.
Role: Danielle works within our Accounting Services Team, focusing on preparing statutory accounts and personal tax returns.
In his newly formed role as Practice Accountant, Glenn manages the management reporting process for all clients at LK & Associates. Glenn also supports Josh in the Accounts team preparing limited company accounts.
Glenn is a highly experienced management accountant who brings fresh insight to our team at LK & Associates.
Role: Glenn oversees the management reporting process of LKA clients and supports the Accounting Services Team in preparing Company Accounts.
Bookkeeper / Tax Accountant
Jemma joined LK & Associates in May 2019 as our Bookkeeping Clerk. Jemma came to LK & Associates from a specialist Accounting and Property Management practice and has built up extensive knowledge in small business accounting and personal tax client services. Jemma provides high quality bookkeeping and management accounting services.
Role: Jemma provides bookkeeping support to LKA clients – including the preparation and submission of VAT returns. Jemma also supports Robyn, our Head of Tax in the self-assessment process for our clients.
Anita Erlebach, AATQB
Anita began her career in the accounts department of a manufacturing company working as a Purchase Ledger administrator that led to her studying the AAT qualification. It was during these studies she began her new role working for one of the top ten international petroleum companies as Assistant Accountant. Deciding to utilise her experience gained, she now works as a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant here at LK & Associates. Since joining, Anita is proud to have accomplished becoming both Xero Advisor Certified and achieving her AAT Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping – level 3, gaining professional status as an AAT associate bookkeeping member.
Role: Anita provides day to day bookkeeping / VAT support to LKA clients.
Lucie Knox, BA (Hons)
After 4 years as Office Manager Lucie has taken the next step in her career at LK & Associates and taken on the role of Marketing Manager, overseeing all of LK & Associates Communications and Marketing activities. Lucie has a background in Marketing, having worked for the Institute of Directors within the Marketing team for nearly 5 years.
Role: Lucie is responsible for LKA client communications and marketing.
Sara Lucioni, CIPD CIPP
Sara is a highly qualified and experienced payroll manager, holding both CIPP payroll and CIPD HR qualifications. She joins us from John Lewis / Waitrose head office payroll team where she processed monthly payroll and managed queries from their 80,000 staff.
Role: Sara is responsible for the smooth running of our Payroll function at LKA.
Claire joined LK & Associates at the end of June 2021 as the company’s office manager. With experience working in big corporations to small family businesses, she ensures that the office is run smoothly and efficiently. As well as dealing with general office, and company secretarial duties she acts as the liaison between clients and staff to ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained.
Role: Claire ensures the smooth day to day running of the LKA Office and Team and oversees all client correspondence.
Jo Kemble has over 10 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. Working with Laura Kenyon since August 2012, Jo manages a portfolio of bookkeeping clients.
Her organised and methodical approach, together with her love of problem solving, lends itself extremely well to this client facing role.
Role: Jo has a portfolio of bookkeeping clients.
Tracy Day (pictured), Helen Templeton-Cross, Katie Dietsch-Horsman and Nicola Waite make up our team of dedicated and experienced bookkeepers who provide support to our clients remotely or at client sites.
